Sergey Karjakin Wins The Candidates Tournament
He qualified for the World Championship match with Magnus Carlsen.
In the last round of the candidates tournament in Moscow, three games ended in draws, and in the key game of the entire tournament, Sergey Karjakin, playing White, defeated Fabiano Caruana, thus taking a clear first place.
Having finished a full point ahead of the second-placed Caruana and Anand, Sergey Karjakin triumphed in the Candidates and will play the World Championship match with the World Champion Magnus Carlsen later this year.
