Levon Aronian and Arianne Caoili Get Married
President of Armenia was the couple's Godfather.
On September 30, a twofold World Cup winner, a threefold Olympic Champion as a member of the Armenian national team Levon Aronian married an Australian chess player, WIM Arianne Caoili. The President of Armenia, the Head of the Armenian Chess Federation Serzh Sargsyan was the couple's Godfather (according to the tradition).
A church wedding ceremony took place in Saghmosavank.
The Russian Chess Federation congratulates a newly married couple and wishes them happiness and prosperity!
