Hikaru Nakamura Wins Millionaire Chess
His prize is $100,000.
Hikaku Nakamura missed the World Rapid and Blitz Championships for a reason. The American grandmaster managed to win the Millionaire Chess - a grand chess open in Las Vegas with $1,000,000 prize fund, 10% of which went to the first place.
In the play-off final Nakamura defeated Le Quang Liem 1.5-0.5 and grabbed the main prize.
