Olga Girya Scores Her First Win In Chengdu
Humpy Koneru is leading after five rounds.
In the 5th round of the Women's Grand Prix event in Chengdu, China, Olga Girya defeated Bela Khotenashvili. This is a first victory of the only Russian player in this tournament. In other games, Ju Wenjun defeated Anna Muzychuk, and draws were recorded in Javakhishvili-Konery, Tan Zhongyi-Stefanova, Zhao Xue-M.Muzychuk, and Dronavalli-Cramling.
