Ekaterina Lagno Receives Letter of Gratitude from Russian President

The ceremony took place at the Russian Olympic Committee.

Today, December 10, Igor Levitin, assistant of Russian president Vladimir Putin, gave Ekaterina Lagno a Letter of gratitude signed by the president. The letter acknowledges the grandmaster's contribution to Russian victory at the 2014 Chess Olympiad in Tromso, Norway. The ceremony took place in the Russian Olympic Committee office in Moscow during the Olympic gathering hosted by the ROC president Alexander Zhukov.

Andrey Filatov, Russian Chess Federation president, was also present at the ceremony and congratulated Ekaterina with a bunch of roses.
