Viorel Bologan Seizes the Lead in Poikovsky
Four rounds are played in the traditional round-robin tournament.
In the 4th round of the Poikovsky tournament Viorel Bologan defeated Ilya Smirin, Ernesto Inarkiev defeated Alexander Morozevich, and Alexei Shirov defeated Victor Laznicka. Sutovsky-Lysyj and Khismatullin-Korobov were drawn.
