Dear Arkady Vladimirovich!

Let me congratulate you on your convincing victory at the FIDE presidential elections taking place at the 89th FIDE Congress in Batumi! I am sincerely happy about the world chess community having appreciated your knowledge and energy, and, most of all, your great desire to help develop our game, so beloved by the whole world. You have enormous experience as a leader in various fields, including the government of the Russian Federation, large commercial and public enterprises, not to mention the management of the Local Organizing Committee of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow, the latter being rightfully recognized as one of the best in history. You have taken part in organizing dozens of major chess competitions, such as Mikhail Tal Memorials, men's and women’s world championships and Candidates tournaments, to name a few. 

When headed by you, the Russian Chess Federation made a quantum leap to enter a totally new level. I am confident the chess world is going to witness a similar shift in the near future as well.

I wish you inexhaustible energy, optimism and great success in promoting and developing chess!
