RCF President Andrey Filatov Presents Photo with Vladimir Putin's Autograph to RCF Chess Museum

As well as Vladislav Tretiak's chess set with great athlete's signature.

The RCF Chess Museum, located at Gogolevsky Boulevard, 14, received new exhibit items: RCF President Andrey Filatov donated a photo with the Russian President Vladimir Putin's autograph and a chess set with a signature of a famous hockey goaltender Vladislav Tretiak.

The photo was taken in September 2018 in Sochi, where the Russian national chess teams were holding the final training camp before the World Chess Olympiad. One day, the Russian President came to see our athletes and wished them best of luck in Batumi.

As it is known, Vladislav Tretyak had worn uniform number 20, so he included his favourite number in his autograph. Pieces and pawns in "Tretiak's chess set" represent hockey players: kings are goaltenders, while the others are field players with raised or lowered sticks. A golden puck would smoothly fit the set!

Entry to the Museum is free, but visitors need to register beforehand by calling +7-495-212-06-13 or +7-495-691-97-55.
