Round 3 of Magnus Carlsen Invitational Finishes on Chess24.com
Ian Nepomniachtchi and Ding Liren won their matches.
The third round of the Magnus Carlsen Invitational was completed on Chess24.com on April 23. The Maxime Vachier-Lagrave vs. Ding Liren and Anish Giri vs. Ian Nepomniachtchi matches were played.
Ian Nepomniachtchi beat Anish Giri in the second game, while all other games finished in a draw.
Maxime Vachier-Lagrave and Ding Liren made four draws and had to determine the winner in Armageddon. The Chinese grandmaster won the sudden death game with the white pieces.
