Petrovskaya Ladya Wins Russian Junior Team Championships
The festival will be concluded with blitz and rapid tournaments.
Russian Junior Club Championship in classical chess ended in Petergof near St. Petersburg. In the 9th round Petrovskaya Ladya-1 defeated Yunost Moskvy-2 (3-1), while Yunost Moskvy-1 club, which was level with the St. Petersburgers after 8 rounds, defeated Dvorets-1 (Moscow) with a more modest 2.5-1.5 score. This allowed Petrovskaya Ladya to win the gold with 25 points. Yunost Moskvy-1 took the silver with 24.5, SDYUSSHOR (St. Petersburg) took the bronze with 23.5.
