Sergei Rublevsky Conferred the Rank of Honorable Citizen of Kurgan Region

A festive event dedicated to the 76th anniversary of the Kurgan region took place on February 6 in the city Philharmonic Hall. The acting Governor of the Kurgan region Vadim Shumkov handed out rewards to the citizens.
"I would like to thank managers and workers of factories and agricultural enterprises, transportation companies and social institutions, representatives of science, culture, education, and medicine for their hard work, as well thousands of citizens of the Kurgan region who have contributed to the region's maintenance and development by their everyday labour", said the Governor.
One of the award recipients, Sergei Rublevsky, Head coach of the Russian national women's chess team, Honored Master of Sports, was conferred the rank of the Honorable Citizen of Kurgan the region by the decree of the regional government.
