Team from Sverdlovsk Region Leads Belaya Ladya Final after Four Rounds
Guests win 3-1 in Russia - India match.
The fourth round of the 50th Belaya Ladya final was played in Dagomys on June 5. The teams from the Sverdlovsk region took the sole lead again with 13.5 points our of 16. Team Mongolia is half a point behind. Chess players from the Nizhny Novgorod region have scored 12.5 points. All these team won their matches in Round 4.
Pairings and results
A match between school teams of Russia and India is being played as part of the event. It is a two-format contest in standard and blitz chess. A team is made up of two boys and two girls born in 2005 and later. The Indian team won 3-1 in the fourth round. The score is 9-7 in favour of the Russian chess players.
The teams are to play 4 more rounds in classical chess and 8 blitz rounds.
