Ugra Chess Academy Launches a New Educational Program
“In the Kingdom of Chess” program aims at elementary schools.
The Ugra Chess Academy, Khanty-Mansiysk, started an educational and entertainment program “In the Kingdom of Chess”, which aims at students of Khanty-Mansiysk elementray schools. From October 31 to November 2, 16 classes from schools #1, #3, #4, #8, and Gymnasium #1 visited the Academy to take part in the program. They took an excursion around the building, visited the museum, and had a lecture on history of chess and basic strategy. A small quiz was carried out after the lecture, and in the end all visitors received souvenirs and gifts from the Academy.
The program will be running in December 2016 as well.
