Vladimir Nevostruev Wins Kemerovo Region Superfinal
Nikolay Vlassov finished second.
The Superfinal of Kemerovo Region ended with a two-way tie for first place between grandmaster Vladimir Nevostruev and international master Nikolay Vlassov. A blitz tie-break was arranged, and after a dramatic struggle it ended in Nevostruev's favor. Final standings:
1. GM Vladimir Nevostruev, 2. IM Nikolay Vlassov, 3. GM Andrey Gutov, 4. Vladislav Goncharov, 5. GM Pavel Smirnov, 6. IM Dmitry Sitnikov.
