Young Russians Fight for Medals of the European Youth Championship

6 rounds are played in Romania.

Six rounds of the European Youth Championship were played in Mamaia. Russian players are fighting for prizes in all age groups. 

Savva Vetokhin is sharing the 3rd place among boys under 8 years old, while Sofya Svergina, who has won all her previous games, is on the 1st place in the U8 girls’ category. Gordey Kolesov is sharing the 3rd place in the U10 open group; Veronika Shubenkova has got a perfect score among girls under 10 years old. Volodar Murzin and Andrey Tsvetkov are sharing the 3rd place in the U12 open category; Eva Stepanyan and Anna Zhurova are sharing the 2nd place. 

Aram Yeritsyan is one of the leaders in the U14 open group, while Ekaterina Miroshnik has scored 4.5 points in the same age category among girls. Timur Salemgareev and Alexandra Maltsevskaya are sharing the 2nd places among boys and girls under 16 years old. Aleksey Sorokin has got 4.5 points in the U18 open group, while Alena Korchagina has scored 4 points.
