Russian Players Win 5 Medals at World Youth Championship

The World Youth Championship among boys and girls under 14, 16, and 18 years old was finished on October 11 in Mumbai. The Russian players won 5 medals: 3 gold, 1 silver and 1 bronze ones.
Results:
Boys U14:
1. Aydin Süleymanlı (Azerbaijan) - 9 points out of 11, 2-3. L.R. Srihari, Maralakshikari Sreeshwan (both from India) - 8.
Girls U14:
1. Meruert Kamalidenova (Kazakhstan) - 8.5, 2-3. Deshmukh Divya, Ravi Rakshitta (both from India) - 8.
Boys U16:
1. Rudik Makarian - 8.5, 2-3. Stefan Pogosyan (both from Russia), Ghosh Aronyak (India) - 8.
Girls U16:
1-2. Leya Garifullina (Rusia), Nazerke Nurgali (Kazakhstan) - 8.5, 3. Anousha Mahdian (Iran) - 8.
Boys U18:
1. R. Praggnanandhaa (India) - 9, 2. Shant Sargsyan - 8.5, 3. Artur Davtyan (both from Armenia) - 8.
Girls U18:
1. Polina Shuvalova (Russia) - 8.5, 2. Argawal Vantika (India) - 8, 3. Alexandra Obolentseva (Russia) - 7.5.
