Russians Maintain Leadership at World Youth Championship

The seventh round of the World Youth Championship among boys and girls under 14, 16, and 18 years old was played on October 7 in Mumbai.
In the Open U14 group, Volodar Murzin and Andrey Tsvetkov have scored 4.5 points. Ekaterina Nasyrova is sharing the first place in the girls' tournament with 6 points.
Rudik Makarian has got 5.5 points in the Open U16 group, while Stefan Pogosyan is half a point behind. Leya Garifullina is sharing the lead with 6 points, while Viktoriya Loskutova has scored 5 points.
Oleg Bykov is on the 20th place with 4.5 points in the Open U20 category. Polina Shuvalova is leading the race with 6 points in the girls' tournament. Alexandra Obolentseva and Anna Afonasieva have got 5 points.
October 8 is the tournament's free day.
