Third Leg of FIDE WGP Begins in New Delhi
Three Russian players are entering the field.
The third leg of the FIDE Women's Grand Prix will be held in the Indian capital from 24 March to 6 April. The round-robin event will feature the Russians Aleksandra Goryachkina, Kateryna Lagno, Polina Shuvalova, Humpy Koneru, Dronavalli Harika, Rameshbabu Vaishali (all from India), Nana Dzagnidze, Nino Batsiashvili (both from Georgia), Zhansaya Abdumalik, Bibisara Assaubayeva (both from Kazakhstan), Zhu Jiner (China), and Elisabeth Paehtz (Germany). The Russian participants will play under the FIDE flag. .
The match days are 25-30 March and 1-5 April.
