Team Russia Advances to FIDE Online Olympiad Final
Our players will face the USA in the final.

The finalists of the FIDE Online Olympiad are being determined on the 14th of September. The Russian team beat China in the semi-final. Our players won the first match 3.5-2.5 and the second 4-2 to advance to the final.
Results:
Match 1: Ding Liren - Daniil Dubov 1/2-1/2, Vladislav Artemiev - Yu Yangyi 1/2-1/2, Hou Yifan - Aleksandra Goryachkina 1/2-1/2, Alexandra Kosteniuk - Ju Wenjun 1-0, Wang Shixu - Andrey Esipenko 0-1, Polina Shuvalova - Ning Kaiyu 0-1.
Match 2: Daniil Dubov - Ding Liren 1-0, Yu Yangyi - Vladislav Artemiev 1/2-1/2, Aleksandra Giryachkina - Hou Yifan 0-1, Ju Wenjun - Alexandra Kosteniuk 0-1, Andrey Esipenko - Xu Zhihang 1-0, Ning Kaiyu - Leya Garifullina 1/2-1/2.
The second finalist was determined in the India vs USA match. The Americans won on tie-break (1-5, 4-2, 4.5-1.5) to qualify for the final.
The final match between Russia and the USA will be held on the 15th of September starting at 7:30 PM Moscow time.
